In 2007 Hotel Esperanza accomplished a total remodel including all guestrooms with European tiles and exotic Mahogany and Cedar woods throughout. The hotel now features a new plaza with our unique and one of a kind new pool and spa.

We are a family oriented hotel, welcoming singles, couples, wedding parties, families, children, and handicap guests.

A leisurely laid back lifestyle is the mode for Esperanza. Sun drenched days, golden sunsets, and romantic strolls on the beach are only a booking away! Being a smaller hotel we offer a warm family atmosphere with the added bonus of having the amenities of a larger hotel. We are located in Playa Carrillo, just a short walk down the hill to one of Costa Rica’s most beautiful and tropical beaches.
