Welcome to Shake Joe's, the first lounge in Latin America...

Shake Joe's opened on December 1st, 2002 and, with the idea to have an easy hang out, we started a lounge on one of the most exotic beaches in Costa Rica. International Food and Fruit Cocktails are served right on the beach

Here you will find healthy shakes - that is the reason of the name - and good and fast food. About the ingredients.... fresh tropical fruits and best in meet and fish.

Shake Joe's is the best place to relax after you have travelled around Costa Rica.

Easy listening and soul music are always played and sometimes we have live music, maybe played by Joe himself. Comfortable sofas, ocean breeze, shade, coconut palms....and the ocean at a few steps... you will never want to go somewhere else!

Our prices are reasonable, but not so cheap as they tell you in the tourist guides.

We open from 11am and kitchen closes at 9pm, but you can stay as long as Joe likes ... all depends the way you like it. Just come, and see by your self.

We promise you the most relaxed time, best food and cocktails and whenever you like... crazy good time!

Prices run from ¢2.000 for an hamburger with fries, ¢5.600 for a pepper steak with fries & salad or ¢ 5.000 for a nice Lasagna or Ravioli. Our sandwiches start from ¢ 1.000 and drinks from ¢ 800.
